Yunnan Red Osmanthus

A match made in heaven - the deep, warm, earthy, maltiness of Yunnan red marries perfectly with the high peachy-pineapple notes of fragrant Osmanthus blossoms. Yunnan Red is cultivated in the ancient birthplace of tea where Laos, Burma, and southwest China meet. It’s crafted in the traditional way by bruising and oxidizing indoors to 90%, and then letting the leaves dry in sunlight for a day without a finishing bake. Rich notes of carob malt, strong peach-pineapple florals, and a mellow finish.
