Xi Gui · Queen of Lincang · Sheng/Raw

Our 200–250-year-old gushu Xi Gui grove is located right on the west bank of the Lan Cang river in east Lin Cang. It is believed Xigui trees receive their wonderful character and richness from their proximity to the Lan Cang. The river constantly runs calcium richness to the tree’s roots, provides a rocky soil for tea minerality, and creates abundant moisture through morning and evening mists. Having no bitterness or astringency, this tea has a very fast “hui gan,” or after-sweet. Honey aroma, Bamboo cane sweetness (green-sweet), rich, with earthy complexity.
