Visually stunning, our genuine Tai Ping Hou Kui is plucked only in late April from tea bushes in Hou Keng Village on the foothills of Mt. Huangshan. The long elegant leaves are first lightly fire-roasted to preserve their emerald green hue and stop oxidization. The tea is then flattened and dried by hand between cloth and bamboo. Simply place leaves in a tall slender glass of warm spring water to transform this delight into an ethereal brew of sweet green dew, moist spring grass, and light delicate liquor expressing the charms of this true tribute tea.
