Nannuo Shan - Sheng

Our 200-year-old semi-wild Pu-erh trees thrive in groves that have existed in the same ancient forests where tea was originally discovered. On Mount Nan Nuo Shan, 1,700 meters up, they grow in a diverse and somewhat unkempt ecosystem among fruit trees and tall bamboo canopies that add diversity and richness to the soil. Surprisingly easy drinking now, this loose-leaf sheng Pu-erh should also age nicely. Notes of forest floor, sandalwood, grapefruit zest, and a long finish.
