An eclectic-flared foot finishes the bottom of this stylish, partially handmade teapot crafted in authentic Duan ni (a mix of purple and green clay).
Duan ni clay has been procured for centuries from only the foothills near Yixing in Jiangsu province. Duan ni clay fires somewhat porous, and with continued use will retain a tea’s oils and essence.
This teapot is finished in a cool mushroom or greyed crushed-granite tone.
