Our Bing Dao is harvested in early spring from 300-year-old gushu trees growing within Bing Dao Village. Old tree Bing Dao may be the most sought after pu-erh within Lin Cang. Bing Dao expresses much of the “cha qi” power and strength of an LBZ, but is somewhat softer due to the unique terroir in Bing Dao Village. Deep earth complexity, “cha qi” energy, dark rock sugar, slight bitterness balanced with after-sweet, giving way to more “hui gan” sweetness through subsequent steeps.
