These small leaf tea bushes of the Xingcun Xiao Zhong cultivar grow at around 1,800 meters in the Wuyishan Nature Reserve. The best unsmoked Lapsangs grow in misty mornings and shaded afternoons with soft sunlight later in the day. Slow growing bushes produce dense flavorful leaves with the unique taste of this ancient terrior. Mellow, floral, raw cinnamon, with a rich round mouthfeel.
